Norwich City manager Philippe Clement is urging his players to maintain faith as the Canaries navigate the early challenges of the Championship season. The Belgian coach, speaking after a 2-1 home defeat to West Brom, emphasized the importance of persistence and hard work in achieving the club's promotion aspirations.

'Keep the faith is the mantra from Philippe Clement after Norwich City’s sour Championship start,' Clement said. 'I saw a lot of good things (against West Brom) and that's why you saw the reaction of the fans afterwards. Although everybody is disappointed to lose points, with the big expectation that everybody has, there was a lot of good things, and I'm very sure if we just keep on working, which the team has been doing until now, over the next couple of months then we will take a lot of points, and that's the goal - that's the aim, that's what we're going to do.' Clement's optimism is rooted in the quality of his squad, with Anthony Musaba closing in on a loan move from Turkey to bolster the wide stocks.

Papa Amadou Diallo made his first competitive appearance since January in the closing stages of the Baggies' defeat, while both fit-again Ante Crnac and recent signing, Darlin Yongwa, took part in another weekend practice game. 'More and more players coming back, more and more competition,' Clement noted. 'You see also the guys who started and everybody who came on also showed the right energy, with the right attitude. So for the moment this team is in in a really good spot. It's difficult to say that as a manager because I hate so hard to lose games, but I cannot be disappointed what the team gave us. There is a lot of desire and hunger and good things going on, on and off the pitch.' Clement's squad faces upcoming matches against Millwall and recently relegated Burnley, both of which present significant challenges. Clement's belief in the team's ability to compete for promotion is clear, and he remains focused on the task ahead, emphasizing the need for continued effort and determination.
