Norwich City's head coach Philippe Clement is taking a central role in the club's summer strategy, shaping the signings he believes can push the Canaries into the promotion conversation. Clement, who took the club from 23rd in the Championship to a ninth-place finish, including a run at two points per game since the start of 2026, will be heavily involved in any additions that arrive through the gates at Colney this summer. According to Nils Koppen, who worked closely with Clement during their respective spells at Rangers, Clement is a coach who puts in the hard work and will watch two, three, or even four hours of a player to come back with a good opinion. Koppen believes it is a sign of Clement's growing investment in the clubs he represents and his drive to succeed. Clement wants to be involved in every single bit, and if you want to get somewhere as a club, whether that's Norwich or another club, you have to do it together. He's a good team worker, and I think that's great.
