Norwich City head coach Philippe Clement is optimistic about the club's chances in the Championship next season. The Canaries have sold out their general admission season tickets, with almost 20,000 purchased across the stadium. Clement is fully immersed in building a team that can take the Canaries out of the Championship and back into the Premier League for the first time since the 2021-22 season. He has the backing of City fans who experienced a roller-coaster of emotions last season as the Belgian led them from the relegation zone to the edges of the play-offs. Clement has made the first inroads into a squad revamp with the loan-to-buy signing of Brazilian defender Bruno Alves, but warns there is a lot more to do before City's campaign opens in mid-August. Summer work is underway at Carrow Road, with construction taking place in the Barclay Stand to completely refurbish two new-look lounges – NR1 and Aria. Renovation works on the Carrow Road pitch are planned, with a new public address system also being installed across the stadium.
